Statistics: Russia’s April wage arrears rise 5.9% to 3.8 bln rbl
MOSCOW, May 18 (PRIME) – Russia’s wage arrears grew 5.9% in April to 3.848 billion rubles as of May 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Thursday.
Wage arrears due to the lack of companies’ funds rose 5.2% to 3.797 billion rubles as of May 1 and accounted for 98.7% of the cases. The arrears due to a late receipt of funds from federal, regional and local budgets rose 25 million rubles to 51 million rubles as of April 1.
